There’s no shortage of adventure-based activities here in sunny Myrtle Beach, especially for those who are hoping to explore the vast Atlantic Ocean, Waites Island, or our many salt marshes. Luckily for you and your family, Ocean Annie’s Resorts is a short jaunt from three of the most popular Myrtle Beach watersports: parasailing, jet skiing, and kayaking. Whether you’re hoping to glide 500 feet in the air, jet through our teal blue water, or paddle along serene beaches, you’ll quickly discover that Myrtle Beach is the adventurous getaway that your family deserves!
Parasailing
No other Myrtle Beach watersports are nearly as exhilarating and electrifying as parasailing 500 feet above the teal Atlantic Ocean. Atlantic Watersports in North Myrtle Beach is the area’s top-rated parasailing outfit as their Coast Guard-inspected boats supply participants with a birds-eye view of our beautiful beaches, inlets, and the vast deep blue. Many excursions cruise past friendly dolphins and sea turtles! If you’re afraid of heights, perhaps this video will persuade you to give parasailing a try.
Jet Skiing
Aptly-named Myrtle Beach Watersports is one of the area’s top providers of water-based thrills. If you take a glance at their extensive website, you’ll see that they offer a wide variety of tours, including pontoon rides, backwater adventures, and, of course, jet ski excursions. The 2.5-hour Jet Ski Dolphin Watch Tour is the ideal way to not only experience the serene beauty of the Intercoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean, but you’ll have the rare opportunity to meet dozens of bottlenose dolphins during your aquatic journey. Children under the age of 16 can ride with a licensed adult, so feel free to bring along the whole family!
Kayaking
There are several kayak outfitters along Myrtle Beach, but we typically send our guests to Kokopelli Surf Camp in North Myrtle Beach. All tours depart from the Cherry Grove Boat Landing, approximately 13 miles northeast of our two Myrtle Beach oceanfront hotels. Kokopelli offers four different kayak tours: island, salt marsh, sunrise, and sunset. While you cannot go wrong with any of them, we highly recommend the three-hour Waites Island tour that involves shelling for rare beauties and sand dollars where you’ll likely spot crabs, jellyfish, and a wide variety of birds. The Todd brothers continue to provide customers with some of the best tours, lessons, services, and insider knowledge in the area! If you’re planning on trying one of these three Myrtle Beach watersports, you’ll unquestionably want to give them a call.
Best Beach Bars in Myrtle Beach
