No surprises at the front desk. Here’s everything worth knowing before you book, in plain language, so you can plan around it instead of discovering it with your bags in the lobby.
Check-in age
You need to be 21 or older to check in.
Guests aged 18 to 20 can check in with a $300 refundable deposit. You get it back — it’s a deposit, not a fee — assuming the unit comes back the way you found it.
Bring photo ID either way. The person at the desk will ask, because we ask everybody.
Parking
Every unit gets one free parking pass.
Travelling with two cars? Ask us when you book rather than when you arrive — availability depends on the dates, and the honest answer changes between a January weekend and the Fourth of July.
During the May bike rallies, secured trailer parking is $100.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at Sands Ocean Club or Sands Beach Club.
This one isn’t our call. It’s an HOA rule that applies to the buildings, so there’s no version of this where the front desk makes an exception for a small dog, a quiet dog, or a dog that stays on the balcony. We’d rather you knew now.
Service animals are welcome, as required by federal law.
The condos are individually owned
Worth saying out loud, because it explains a lot of the other answers on this page: every condo at Sands Ocean Club and Sands Beach Club belongs to an individual owner. We manage 375 of them at Sands Ocean Club and 15 at Sands Beach Club, and we rent them on the owners’ behalf.
So no two units are identical. Layouts vary, furnishings vary, and the view from the eighth floor isn’t the view from the second. When you book direct with us, our front desk can tell you what you’re actually getting — which is not something a third-party listing can do for you.
Booking direct
Call 1-888-266-4375 or check rates online. You’ll be talking to the same people who run the front desk, the pool deck and the restaurants — not an agency renting units in our buildings.
Anything else?
The Ocean Annie’s Beach Bar FAQ covers the bar questions — who manages the resort, whether the bar is open to the public, where it is. If it isn’t answered in either place, call us and ask.
